On this journey, we are looking for a passionate and experienced Jira Align Coach / Planning Expert.

Job Description

As a Planning Expert you are pro-actively coaching plan owners (Product Development Manager, Project Leads, Chief Product Owners / Release Train Engineers, Product Owners / Scrum Masters) in creating and enhancing their plans. These plans are related to New Product Introduction (NPI) in the Business Lines and in Development & Engineering. You advise and coach how to best use the standard (Client’s) planning applications. Your focus will be on the program and product roadmaps in Jira Align. This application is growing in adoption and there is a great challenge to support this growth.

You will drive continuous improvement of the way of working, based on market trends and internal developments. One way to do this is by the embedding and adoption of the PMO Scheduling Competence by alignment through various organizational levels. You also provide or refresh training to employees that pick-up a new role that is related to planning.

Education
Minimal level of Bachelors degree, preferably in the area of Business Administration.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with planning for large programs
  • Experience in a large scale Agile environment (SAFe)
  • Experience with planning applications/tools: e.g. Microsoft Project Online, Jira, Jira Align. Jira Align experience is a plus.
  • Experience with implementation of change and improvement projects or ability to do so.

Personal skills

  • Excellent communicator, being able to influence without hierarchical power, and creative in managing a large and diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to guide, coach and advise at all organizational levels to effect sustainable change and improving the process maturity level of the organization.
  • Analytical skills, for example how to best set up a work breakdown as input for setting up a plan.
  • Team player: enjoys working in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams with the ability to work independently.
  • Project Management, Agile/SAFe expertise.
  • Affinity with the functional part of IT
