Job Description
As Senior PMO’er you are responsible for:

  • Driving effective decision making on all levels as a trusted ‘advisor’;
  • Pro-actively connecting, enabling and challenging all stakeholders;
  • Implementing and improving the project management methodology and related topics such as project planning, financial management, reporting, change control, risk management and quality. This in combination, when applicable, with the agile way-of-working;
  • Quality controls to secure that the deployed tools & techniques are properly being used by the project leaders, epic owner and project management officers;
  • The reporting process: that complete, consistent and up-to-date reporting on the status of the change portfolio is available;
  • The resource management process: to drive the claim, allocation and escalation process within Finance;
  • Supporting the annual and quarterly (re) prioritization and (re) balancing of the finance change portfolio.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree, preferably in the field of Finance & Accounting; and (agile) project management certified.

Experience

  • At least 8+ years of working experience as (senior) project management officer or practical experience as a project manager in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment;
  • Knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Knowledge of collaboration tools (e.g. Sharepoint, Teams);
  • Knowledge of Project Management and/or Portfolio Management Tools (Project Online);
  • Experience with implementation of change and improvement projects or ability to do so.

  • Maintains personal effectiveness and people focus under pressure, high speed of change and uncertainty;
  • Ability to guide, coach and advise at operational and tactical level to effect sustainable change and improving the project and process maturity level of the organization;
  • Team player, enjoys working in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams with the ability to work independently;
