Role Overview

The HR & Operations executive is responsible for driving and managing all people, compliance, and operational activities across Brainbox’s India and Netherlands entities. This role ensures smooth functioning of day-to-day operations, employee lifecycle management, policy implementation, and organizational efficiency while maintaining compliance with local and international regulations. The position demands ownership, discretion, and a hands-on approach to managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, growing organization.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire employee lifecycle including onboarding, documentation, background verification, employee data management, and exit formalities.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and ensure consistent adherence across both India and Netherlands operations.
  • Coordinate and manage global mobility processes such as relocations, work-from-office transitions, visa and work permit renewals, and international employment contracts.
  • Collaborate with finance teams on monthly payroll processing, reimbursements, and employee benefits administration.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, labor regulations, and data protection requirements
  • Partner with vendors, consultants, and legal advisors for HR, payroll, facilities, and compliance-related matters, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy.
  • Oversee administrative operations including office space management, vendor contracts, procurement, ID/access management, and coordination with facility partners.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR trackers, and organizational databases for internal reporting and audit purposes.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives, including events, recognition programs, and communication campaigns across global teams.
  • Support performance management processes, including performance improvement plans (PIP), feedback documentation, and employee relations activities.
  • Provide inputs on policy updates, and operational improvements to enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Ensure a positive employee experience through proactive communication, efficient support, and consistent policy application across locations.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage cross-cultural teams.
