On this journey, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer Java/.NET who is also interested to take on a wide range of activities.

Description:

As a DevOps Engineer Java, you play a key role in delivering high-quality services to internal and external users. You’ll work with modern tools and technologies such as the latest Java versions, Azure DevOps with YAML pipelines, and the Spring framework. In addition to Java development, you’ll also contribute to .NET development (C# in Azure) within the team.

You’ll collaborate with three colleagues (other DevOps engineers and a Product Owner) in three-week sprints, following development Way-of-Working, which includes architectural guidelines, pipeline standards, and quality control frameworks. You’ll engage with end users and functional administrators when needed, and demonstrate new features during review sessions and user meetings.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain Java applications and implement/test new business requirements.
• Contribute to .NET development.
• Focus on maintenance and support, with room for new feature development.
• Participate in standby/on-call rotations.

Requirements/KO’s:
You need to fit all the 7 points below in order to be proposed for the role!
• Minimum HBO-level education and thinking.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Dutch.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in (Enterprise) Java development (Java 8+).
• At least 5 years of experience managing critical Java systems in the financial sector.
• At least 5 years of experience in front-end development (JavaScript, AngularJS, Ajax, HTML5/CSS).
• Relevant experience in C# development on the .NET platform in at least 2 projects.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Java Development Experience:
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Spring Framework.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Azure DevOps.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with YAML pipelines.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with SonarQube.
