Role Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Mendix Architect and the architect will play a key role in designing, governing, and delivering business-critical Mendix solutions that seamlessly integrate with the Teamcenter PLM ecosystem. Proven hands-on experience implementing Teamcenter integrations in Mendix is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Solution Design

• Define and govern the end-to-end architecture for Mendix solutions supporting PLM processes.
• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable Mendix applications integrated with Teamcenter.
• Act as the technical authority for Teamcenter-Mendix integrations across the ART.
• Ensure alignment with Clients architecture standards, governance, security, and compliance requirements.

Teamcenter Integration Leadership

• Design and implement integrations between Mendix and Teamcenter using: Teamcenter REST APIs, Teamcenter SOA/Web Services, Data Services, Event-driven integration patterns, Enterprise integration middleware where applicable
• Enable seamless exchange of: Engineering data, BOM structures, Change requests, Product configurations, Manufacturing and quality data, Workflow and approval information
• Lead integration n architecture discussions with Teamcenter platform teams and business stakeholders.

Digital Continuity & PLM Transformation

• Support Clients’s digital continuity ambitions by connecting engineering and business processes.
• Design solutions that extend Teamcenter capabilities through user-centric Mendix applications.
• Drive modernization and simplification of PLM business processes.
• Ensure traceability and data consistency across the engineering value chain.

Technical Leadership

• Mentor senior and medior Mendix developers.
• Perform solution reviews and architecture assessments.
• Establish integration standards, reusable components, and architecture guardrails.
• Support delivery teams during design, implementation, testing, and deployment phases.
• Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams to optimize CI/CD and operational excellence. Stakeholder Management
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and PLM stakeholders.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Communicate architecture decisions at both technical and executive levels.

Requirements: 

The candidate must have proven delivery experience in Teamcenter-Mendix implementations, including:

• Minimum 5 years of Mendix architecture experience and a minimum 3 years of Teamcenter integration architecture experience.
• Successful delivery of multiple Teamcenter-Mendix solutions in an enterprise environment and deep understanding of: Teamcenter data model, Change Management , Configuration Management, BOM Management, Workflow Management and Product Lifecycle processes

Preferred Experience

• Experience within semiconductor, high-tech, manufacturing, aerospace, or engineering industries.
• Experience working in SAFe Agile Release Trains.
• Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) transformations.
• Experience integrating Mendix with: SAP, Teamcenter, Manufacturing systems, Document management systems
• Experience driving architecture governance within large enterprise environments.
• Language: Dutch and English
