On this journey, we are looking for Senior Software Build Engineer who is also interested to take on a wide range of activities.

As a Build Specialist, you will be part of one of our greenhouse engineering teams, typically consisting of 6–8 highly skilled and educated professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and executing technical work packages while ensuring high standards of quality and adherence to project timelines. Your primary focus will be on designing, developing, and implementing solutions aligned with business requirements and the product roadmap.

Skill & experience

• 8+ years of valid experience in software development and build management.
• Bazel development experience is mandatory.
• Good knowledge on Bazel concepts (rules, macros, platforms, RBE, caching, toolchains, hermetic build)
• Hand on experience in Go, Python programming.
• General (modern) software design and development experience (basic algorithm implementation, test driven development – BDD)
• (Automated) software integration & release processes. concepts and tools (e.g. GitHub Actions)
• Good knowledge of SCM systems and Git (GitHub, ClearCase)

Nice to Have:

• Software development in C/C++
• Development experience in Rust
• Algorithms and compilers
• Experience in nix package management
• Infrastructure as code and cloud principles and tool
