On this journey, we are looking for Data Engineer<\/strong> who is also interested to take on a wide range of activities.<\/p>\n

As a Data Engineer, you will design and deliver a scalable, cloud-native data engineering platform on Microsoft Azure , powered by Databricks and provisioned through Terraform infrastructure-as-code.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/b><\/div>\n
    \n
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL\/ELT processes using Databricks on Azure<\/li>\n
  • Develop and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform, following infrastructure-as-code best practices<\/li>\n
  • Architect and implement data platform capabilities including data lakes, lakehouses, and medallion architecture patterns<\/li>\n
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into platform features<\/li>\n
  • Implement data quality monitoring, observability, and governance frameworks<\/li>\n
  • Create reports and data products in response to specific business requests, built on the platform you help establish<\/li>\n
  • Contribute to platform documentation, engineering standards, and best practice guidelines<\/li>\n
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies \u2014 sprint planning, technical reviews, and retrospectives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    Requirements<\/b><\/div>\n
      \n
    • Proven hands-on experience with Databricks \u2014 Delta Lake, Spark, and Databricks Workflows<\/b><\/li>\n
    • Strong Microsoft Azure skills \u2014 ADLS Gen2, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse or equivalent<\/b><\/li>\n
    • Solid Terraform proficiency for cloud infrastructure provisioning and IaC pipeline management<\/b><\/li>\n
    • Proficiency in Python or PySpark for production-grade pipeline development<\/li>\n
    • Experience designing scalable data architectures \u2014 Data Lake, Lakehouse, Medallion architecture<\/li>\n
    • Familiarity with CI\/CD practices and version control using Git<\/li>\n
    • Strong written and verbal communication in English<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Nice to Have<\/b><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Background in energy, utilities, or industrial IoT sector<\/li>\n
      • Experience with data build tool for transformation layer management<\/li>\n
      • Familiarity with streaming architectures \u2014 Azure Event Hubs, Apache Kafka<\/li>\n
      • Azure certification, e.g. DP-203 Data Engineer Associate<\/li>\n
