This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge innovation in <strong>interventional healthcare<\/strong>, where software directly influences patient outcomes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Role Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As a Senior Software Designer, you will design and develop <strong>high-performance C++ software<\/strong> for a Windows-based platform in a <strong>safety-critical clinical environment<\/strong>. You will play a key role in ensuring software quality, reliability, and compliance with regulatory standards while collaborating across system software teams.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design, develop, and maintain <strong>high-quality, performant, and maintainable C++ software<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Take <strong>end-to-end ownership<\/strong> of features: design, development, testing, documentation, and release<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with <strong>IEC 62304<\/strong> and other regulatory standards<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to <strong>architecture discussions<\/strong> and technical decision-making<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure <strong>alignment and system integration<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Drive <strong>continuous improvement<\/strong> in code quality, performance, and development processes<\/li>\n<li>Mentor team members and promote a culture of <strong>engineering excellence<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0Required Skills &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field<\/li>\n<li><strong>5+ years of experience<\/strong> in modern C++ (C++14 or later)<\/li>\n<li>Strong experience in developing <strong>complex, high-tech or safety-critical systems<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with <strong>Windows-based application or platform development<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Experience integrating <strong>native C++ with .NET\/C# components<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with <strong>regulated environments<\/strong> (preferably medical devices)<\/li>\n<li>Strong focus on <strong>clean architecture, quality, and reliability<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Nice to Have<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with <strong>automated testing frameworks and CI\/CD pipelines<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with <strong>static analysis tools and GitHub Actions<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Exposure to <strong>embedded systems or cross-platform development<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Brainbox Consulting BV\u00a0aligning great talent with clients\u2019 needs is at the core of who we are.
