Shell Oil & Gas Global (SAP Ariba Strategic Account) is an international energy giant with worldwide operations. Shell Oil & Gas Global brought in Brainbox Consulting for their SAP Ariba implementation in 2018. The requested configuration was very complex and required cutting edge product innovations and customizations. The project scope included:

Ariba Guided Buying
Ariba Buying
Ariba API (Reporting & SLP)
Ariba User Integration
Ariba Buying Integration with ECC

Our role within the digital procurement transformation of Shell Oil & Gas Global was to implement SAP Ariba Buying, Guided Buying, Ariba API, and user integration. We performed these tasks in close cooperation with SAP Ariba consultants, Shell’s business and technical teams, and SAP Ariba’s Product and Innovation teams.

As an extension, Shell Oil & Gas Global involved Brainbox Consulting again in 2020. For this project we implement and manage the cloud integration gateway (CIG) for Commerce Automation / Digital Supplier Network.

Supply Chain Collaboration for ASML

ASML is the largest supplier of photolithography systems for the semiconductor industry worldwide. Based out of Veldhoven, The Netherlands, the company manufactures machines for the production of integrated systems. To support these complex business processes with efficient procurement, ASML has acquired SAP Ariba.

Brainbox Consulting has contributed to the SAP Ariba landscape of ASML by guiding the Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration project in 2018. Our project manager worked together with SAP Ariba Consulting, Intrigo Systems, and ASML’s Systems Integrator teams. Together we delivered the project within the timelines and scope.

The scope for Brainbox was the implementation and deployment of Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration in the Netherlands. The Brainbox project manager was responsible for the following tasks:

Project Management
Stakeholder Management

SAP Ariba Project Management for Innogy Global

Innogy Global is a German utility company providing energy and mobility solutions. In 2019 Innogy was acquired by the largest utility provider of Europe, EON. Innogy started a SAP Ariba full suite implementation just before the acquisition and involved Brainbox Consulting for project management services. The scope for Brainbox Consulting contained the following modules:

SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing
SAP Ariba Strategic Sourcing
SAP Ariba Contract Management
SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle and Performance Management
S/4 HANA Central Procurement (multi-ERP)

Our project manager worked closely with SAP Ariba Consulting. Together we supported Innogy Global to cope with the impact of M&A activities on the Ariba project timeline and scope. Brainbox Consulting provided solution architecture and project governance within a very complex customer landscape.

The Adecco Group is one of the leading human resource providers globally, based out of Zurich, Switzerland. In 2018 Addeco came to Brainbox Consulting to step in on an ongoing full suite implementation of SAP Ariba. The project was running over budget and behind on deliverables.
